The city can be divided into two parts, north and south. Tehran is served by two major airports: Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) and Mehrabad International Airport (THR). IKA is the leading international airport, located 30 kilometers southwest of Tehran, while THR serves mainly domestic flights and some international flights to neighboring countries. Both airports have modern facilities and offer various services, including restaurants, cafes, shops, and currency exchange. Getting to and from the airports is accessible, and different transportation options are available, such as taxis, buses, and metro.
